PageRank Woes

Just when I am glad that this blog got an upgraded PR, my other site is suffering. What made it worse is that the other site is my main blog where I am starting to earn a little from advertising. The reason for driving it’s PageRank up. But then, Google decided it doesn’t deserve the high PR it has now and took it away.

Now I’m afraid that the advertisers will not renew their account next month due to a downgraded PR. That little earnings in advertising might be of little value to some but from where I live, it goes a long-long way.

However, all is not lost. Even if Google will take away the PageRank it has given the site, I still get benefits from that blog. Just like what Darren at ProBlogger wrote, I have earn from my blog indirectly. I got to work on freelance projects because of it. These projects pays more than the advertising but, again, it goes a long way in providing extra money to buy better food.

Damn, another day in a life of a semi-freelance programmer trying to earn a living.
